Tennis Project Hero in Southern California. Back when I was a young boy in the south of France, I was inspired by a blazing generation of US tennis players. Their achievements prompted me to train, compete, and ultimately coach tennis players.
My latest initiative, Tennis Project Hero is my way of giving back to the source, US Tennis. Click HERE to find out more info and how to get involved.

Congratulations to ELLE CHRISTENSEN going from 495 in the USTA national ranking to 58 in just over a year!!
ELLE is also currently ranked top 7th in California for the 16s and the 18s.
Watch out as I gave her a nickname: "Roger" in relation to a 1st favorite player. But here is the deal: ELLE is the most talented and promising female player I have ever seen...
She was coached by Mr Stan Smith for 2 years who put a solid classic technique to her style of play. I have been adding the modern twist to her style or if you prefer more 'Rafa" to her game.
The result is stunning and if you think this is an overstatement: Have you heard the saying "The numbers do not lie"?!... So look closely at those numbers again!!
Next stage: International tour level.

Bringing Tennis to every home, rich or poor: everybody should be able to play Tennis.
I was born in the south of France (Marseille) in a family of 6 and my parents could not afford Tennis lessons. However I took myself to the Tennis courts from age 13 and met new friends I would try to play Tennis with. We were all trying to emulate Andre Agassi and Pete Sampras to name a few. We had no formal training so even though we thought we were mimicking what we were seeing: our balls would fly out of the entire court most of the time...Somehow it did not stop most of us and I eventually understood enough to win 3 tournaments and later on participate in 3 international events. It is my belief that if I had received that training: I would have reach the heights of world tennis. I was extremely hungry for bettering my life and come out of the poorest areas of Marseille. To make a long story short: I believed that Tennis saved my life. So I would like to give back and provide an opportunity for the underprivileged kids. Who knows where the next Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer could be?!! Email or call for more information. |

QUOTE OF THE MONTH: our deepest fear:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
